FHM5 seems to have made it easier to play and find things. The introduction of Random Debut put this one over the top for me, as I usually stick to the Historical Mode and teams.Having shortcut icons on the side was brilliant, and I can find everything much faster now. Tactics seem to be less daunting in FHM5 compared to the last two versions also.. I liked FHM 4, but FHM 5 is a major improvement. I found it a bit too slow to go through the user interface and sim through days in FHM 4, but FHM 5 made it a lot smoother and quicker. Also, the additions of tactics and team chemistry is a nice addition.. This IS a bit of an "in to the deep end!" game, so be ready to hit the ground running - and to make mistakes along the way. Different leagues have different rules, and that follows here.So far the only thing I have been disappointed about has been job offers coming while you're still guiding your team, then none being offered in the off season! To take an offer from a team in another league, you literally have to abandon the team you're with mid-season or mid-playoffs.. Still work in progress. Not sure its worse the entrance price with its current bugs and awkward UI. Nothing special or super unique from past years. I still really dont like the interface compared to OOTP's baseball games and the fact there are no 3D games avaliable yet. Its still the only real hockey sim game avalaible so its tolerable if you love these kind of games.. Not perfect but another huge step towards greatness ;)- Trading engine way better than in FHM4- you love tinkering around with tactics to an extreme? you´ll love the improved tactics screen- for me the most important thing - Historical mode expanded and rudimentary farm system added :)As i mentioned above - for sure not perfect but an improvement over the last iteration. The idea behind the game and all sound exciting and similar to Football Manager 19 which i also enjoy playing. So with hockey being my favorite sport and thinking it would be close to how FM19 plays out i was all in. Yes some things are similar and work the same as in FM19 but the part i was excited about in watching my team perform on the ice wasn't there. Just simply watching a stats screen. SO if you enjoying just watching stats all game then this is perfect. Maybe if they can allow you to watch your team play i can recommend this then, until then, this is a no from me
